Watermark Instructions for Research Project

At MSV, EDUC 602 students must upload the final version of their Research Paper on Canvas AND on Watermark. You will be providing feedback on Canvas and will be marking the required rubric on Watermark.

Here is the information you need to access Watermark.

Login to: http://login.watermarkinsights.com/ using your MSV Outlook account as your username. If you have a filter, you will need to whitelist this website. (*If you get an error message when trying to access this website, please go to the end of this email for suggestions.)

(If you have never logged into your Outlook account, email watermark@sarasch.myiqsolutionsllp.in and ask that your Outlook password be reset. You will receive a response email explaining how to access your Outlook email account.)

When you are logging in to Watermark for the first time, use “forgot password” which will send a reset password link to your MSV Outlook account.

Once you’ve logged in to your MSV Outlook account, you can follow the link in the email you received from Watermark to reset your password. This email may take 30 minutes to an hour to arrive, although it usually comes sooner than that.

Once you’ve logged into your Watermark account, on the left side of the screen, switch from Timeline to In Progress.

Click on your course..

You will see the Research Project and the status of submissions. Click on “Research Project”.

There are three options per student. Awaiting Submission – they haven’t submitted anything yet. Awaiting Assessment – they are waiting for you to mark the rubric for their submission. Done – You have marked the rubric. When you see that there is an assignment awaiting assessment, click on the name of the student. You will see a rubric at the side of the page. Please confirm that the download the student provided is in fact the final version that they uploaded to Canvas (as sometimes students upload the wrong thing). Once that’s confirmed, you can complete the rubric by checking the appropriate response. Once you’ve completed the rubric, click Submit on the top right. You cannot mark the rubric if the student doesn’t submit to Watermark or if the student didn’t submit the correct paper. (If they need to resubmit, click “Request Revision” on the top right.)

Once you have clicked Submit, you will go back to the previous screen and the progress will be listed as Done.

* If you get a security message from your browser, click “reload” and that should allow you to access the website.

If you are still getting an error message, you can try clearing your cache and cookies. (Here are instructions for doing that in Chrome.)

Please note that Watermark works best with Google Chrome. If you cannot get it to work in Chrome, you can try Firefox or Edge.
