  1. Blackboard

  1. Your virtual classroom

    1. Access via the above link and select the Blackboard tile =

      • If you are on your SPU Gmail page, you can find the Blackboard tile within the 9 dot “waffle” icon (Google Apps) at the upper right corner.

      • On the Blackboard homepage, login with your SPU Google Account. 

!   You will receive an error message if you are logged into any other Google account when opening Blackboard.

  1. You will have access to all of your current courses on the “My Courses” screen



  1. Gmail Account/Peacock Mail

  1. Follow the above link to sign in to your “saintpeters.edu” account.

    1. First time access may entail selecting “Use another account” and entering your full “username@saintpeters.edu” account information.

    2.  For easiest access, make sure to first log out of any other Gmail accounts when attempting to access any of your SPU platforms.

  1. All SPU emails are sent here. 

Please regularly check your SPU email inbox!

  1. Term contracts, Important announcements and updates, Grading requests and deadlines, etc.

  2. You may receive SPU Employee group emails regarding campus information and events – you can ignore these and/or filter them to skip your inbox.

  1. Note that your email address creates your SPU username, so do not use the full email address when a username is requested.

    1. Example: My email address is ereich1@saintpeters.edu, so my username is ereich1



  1. SPIRIT Online

  1. This is your go-to portal for all academic and employment information.

    1. All menus are listed on the “Main Menu” screen. Your initial login will allow access to all menus

  2. The 2 menus mainly relevant to you are:

    • Faculty Menu

      1. This menu is for course and class information

        1. Go to “Faculty Information” List to access screens such as “Class Roster”, “Grading”, “Class Schedule”, etc.

    • Employee Menu

      1. This menu is for your personal/employment information

        1. “Employee Profile”:

          1. “Pay Advices” menu option will give you access to your pay stubs (pay stubs are not mailed)

          2. Other menu options provide information regarding your employment

          3. “Tax Information”: W-2 and 1095-C Tax Forms are available for download once you consent to receive them in electronic format (Tax Forms are not mailed)
