Watermark Instructions for Fieldwork

The process of completing fieldwork logs is on a platform at MSV called Watermark. Here is the information you need to access Watermark.

Login to: https://sll.watermarkinsights.com/login#/ using your MSV Outlook account as your username.

If you have a filter, you will need to whitelist this website. (*If you get an error message when trying to access this website, please go to the end of this email for suggestions.)

When you are logging in for the first time, use “forgot password” which will send a reset password link to your MSV Outlook account. (Your MSV Gmail account is no longer active. The password reset will ONLY go to your MSV Outlook account.)

If you never logged into your MSV Outlook account (which is accessed via office.com), please reach out to itsupport@sarasch.myiqsolutionsllp.in ASAP and ask that your Outlook password be reset.

Once you’ve logged in to your MSV Outlook account, you can follow the link in the email you received from Watermark to reset your password. This email may take 30 minutes to an hour to arrive, although it usually comes sooner than that.

Once you’ve logged into your Watermark account, switch from Timeline to Progress on the left side of the screen,

Your course will appear with the name of the course.

When you click on the name of the course (in this example: EDUC 760), it will take you to a page that looks like this:

Click on Log and then New Log Entry to the right

You will need to fill in the date that you worked in a classroom and then click Create Log Entry. You will choose the following category option:

Early Childhood General Education – for EDUC 710 and EDUC 530

Early Childhood Special Education – for EDUC 527, 528, 621, 622 and 675 and EDUC 760

You will need to fill in the number of hours and minutes applicable as well as a description of activities. Do not simply write “Math” “Literacy”  “Social Studies” but specify and summarize the content and activities. Obviously the time indicated on the log should be consistent with performing/observing the activities listed. Each course has an exemplar of what the description of activities should look like to help you understand what is required. It is recommended that you take notes while you’re observing so that details are available when completing the log. Files should not be uploaded. Once you’ve completed your log, click Apply and then click Submit. If you do not click Submit, your log will NOT be submitted. Once you submit your log, it will stay in a status of Pending until your instructor approves or rejects your entry. (There is no Category Type, so please ignore.)

If your instructor rejects the entry, you will be able to see the explanation provided by clicking on the date of the log entry. You will not be able to modify the rejected log. You will need to create a new one. By the date that your fieldwork is due, you are responsible for completing the number of hours required for your course as well as confirming that the logs amounting to those hours are approved.

If you have any questions, please email itsupport@sarasch.myiqsolutionsllp.in for assistance.

* If you get a security message from your browser, click “reload” and that should allow you to access the website.

If you are still getting an error message, you can try clearing your cache and cookies. (Here are instructions for doing that in Chrome.)

Please note that Watermark works best with Google Chrome. If you cannot get it to work in Chrome, you can try Firefox or Edge.
